MY FATHER'S SHOES (MUSIC and WORDS by LEVEL 42)

During the subsequent years there were some commissioned projects and PCB also worked as a back up band for other solo artists. Therefore it was not until late in 1999 that I had a chance to think about some of my own ideas. As a Christmas present for some of my closest friends I produced a CD with some of the most interesting titbits and projects I was persuing during the past year. The first half contains 4 Gospel songs, which I recorded earlier on with a Gospel Quartet I have formed in early 1998, called M.B.E.&C . (for Mike, Betty, Ernst and Cynthia also thinking of the old "M.B.E.", (Members of the British Empire). The second half introduces 5 songs of another project I entertained during these two years, called TRIok.the band-less band. A project combining the idea of Karaoke and a vocal Trio. The three of us (Pimpfy, Betty and myself) were singing to ready made cover backing tracks, which I programmed custom made. (C) 1999
